Thursday morning Papa Rob headed up to fishersmans bend to find the best campsite for us for the weekend, we all thought we would have a few to pick from, we thought wrong, there was only one campsite left when he got there. And it was the best of them all, Nice work Papa Rob...Sarah, the Kidos, and I drove down first thing Friday Morning. We got to the campsite just in time for lunch. Auntie Martha Surprised us by coming down for the day, what a treat our kidos love there Great Auntie. After camp was all put together we headed down to the river.
Later that afternoon Grandma Debbie showed up and was put on baby duty, which she did not mind at all!!! That evening Sean, Brad and Papa Jim pulled with the rest of the Camping Gear... Our weekend was off to a great start...
The weather was amazing, It finally felt like summer, The river was cold but with the heat from the sun the kids didn't mind. We played pretty much all weekend, down by the river fishing, throwin rocks, and relaxing!
Sleeping on the other hand, our little Park Park didn't like the sleeping quarters the first night up every two hours and not a happy baby boy, the second night mommy and daddy were prepared for a crazy night number two but we got lucky, He slept all night all !!!
What Good FOOD, Great Fun, and Amazing Weather... We did miss our Auntie Jo and Levi but all around it was a much needed weekend....
